Do
You Have...
Your wedding dress, a bridesmaid dress, the dress you or your daughter
wore as a flower girl or the brand new outfit you wore when you left
for your homeymoon? W/ELCA is hoping to find enough of these items in
the congregation to have a vintage style show for the May 1 Spring
Luncheon.
If you know where you stored these lovely memories and wouldn't object
to letting us all share those memories with you, please call one of
these board members:
Bonnie McKinney - 433-2879
Bev Pratt - 433-2914
Laurie Carlson - 433-5976
Carolyn Peper - 433-2618
Pastoral Care and Visitation
Please contact us!
It is our desire to be available for visitation. The church is not
notified when someone is admitted to the hospital. Please have a
family member contact the church office if the hospitalized person
would like visitation. Also, please contact the church office if
you've had a new baby, someone close to you has died, or if you or a
family member would like a visit. Know that pastors are always
available for in-office or home visits as well. |

Date Night-- Help Wanted!
Because Date Nights have had a steady attendance that has become too
large for only one, or sometimes two adults, adults MUST help out! If
there are no adults that are helping... Date Night will be cancelled!
How to: Sign up for one month out of the year for you and your spouse
to help. You will help in the kitchen, supervise games, and assist the
youth in caring for the children. This creates a safe environment for
everyone!
The next Date Night will be Friday, March 5 from 5 - 10 p.m. Free
Will Donations are accepted and will be used for Elim's Campership
Funds.
1. Call Elim's office by Wednesday, February 3 so there will be enough
dinner.
2. Bring your child to the youth room with appropriate outdoor
clothing. We will be playing outside!
3. Fill out a permission form 9including insurance information)
4. Enjoy your evening.
5. Pick up your child by 10 p.m.
Youth: Your help is needed! Sing up in the youth room to help. (Space
is limited.)

Prayer Chain
Judy Seekel at 433-5308 is captain of Elim's Prayer Chain. You may
call her with prayer requests.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The days are getting longer, the temps are moderating, but there will
still be many snowy, cold days and nights here in Minnesota. So, why
not get out your knitting needles or crochet hook and start making a
colorful shawl for someone who needs comforting, warmth and the
knowledge that someone cares about them.
I know these shawls are appreciated. I have had many people come up
and tell me how much they liked the shawls they received. Some of the
recipients are now making shawls for others. Let's pass on the love.
If you need more information about patterns, color choices, needle
sizes, etc. give me a call Wilma
Schmitt at 433-3536.
