What is YOUR DREAM for Christian Outreach?
We exist to provide a service to promote your investigation into opportunities for realizing YOUR DREAM.

The Elim Church Foundation Board is totally committed to being responsive to the donors ideas on what and how to make contributions in Christian Outreach.

Your financial consultants and the board can advise you, however, in the final analysis it should be a fulfillment of "YOUR DREAM."

What is the purpose of Elim Lutheran Church Foundation?
Recognizing the need for an effective outreach program, the Elim Lutheran Church Congregation established the Foundation in January, 1997. Its purpose is to receive and invest gifts and bequests according to the wishes of the donor and advance the growth and advancement of God's Kingdom

It permits opportunity for donors to identify specific components of YOUR DREAM.

Gifts will be used exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational endeavors to carry out the object of propagating faith in Jesus Christ, domestically and abroad.

How is the Fund governed and managed?
The articles of Incorporation and By-laws establish how the Foundation operates. The endowment fund is owned by the members of Elim and is managed by a five member board of directors elected by its members. The board volunteers its services to the foundation.

The board promotes, fosters and solicits funds of every kind and from any person or party.

Funds are managed for growth and income to protect the principal. Only the earnings from your funds will be spent annually for special programs and benevolence. No part of the funds will be used for operating expenses of Elim.

YOUR DREAM is of utmost importance in determining how the board will direct the use of your contribution according to your wishes.

Constitution and By-laws are available for your review at the Elim Church office.

How Can I contribute?

Contributions can be made in cash, real estate, stocks, bonds, insurance and other securities; or in your will as a bequest and trust. There are ways to avoid or diminish estate or capital gains and provide a continuing source of income to the donor. Again, the focus will be on YOUR DREAM.

Elim Foundation can be a beneficiary (or partial beneficiary) in a specified percentage in your:
* Will
* Living Trusts or other Trusts
* Life Insurance
* Bank Accounts
* Savings Bonds
* Retirement Plans (IRA, 401K, or others)
* Life Estates/ Remainder of Real Estate
* Charitable Remainders

Contributions are tax deductible and may provide substantial tax benefits to the giver in addition to providing opportunity for stewardship, personal fulfillment and declaring your values to family and others whom you can positively influence.

What can I do now?

Talk with your pastor or board member or call the church office at 651-433-2723 for further information.

Consult with your legal council, insurance agent, financial planners, your family and others who have an understanding of YOUR DREAM.

Attend public workshops and planning seminars.

Notify the church office if you would like to attend a seminar on financial planning.

Pray for understanding and guidance.

Can I continue to be a positive force to share the love of God in Jesus Christ in years to come?

YES! YES! YES! YES!

Your gift to the Foundation is perpetual. The funds principal continues to generate income for God's Kingdom after your life on earth, continuing to fulfill YOUR DREAM in Christian Outreach.

We welcome your interest and efforts. Please let us respond.
