Sunday Morning Adult Education
Please join us guys going into 7th grade and older
every Sunday morning in the Youth Room for a Bible Study. This study
begins at 9 a.m. This fantastic study let by Mike Trowbridge
is based on the Gospel text for the day. This is for "guys" -
you may come alone or bring
your father or "father-figure" (uncle, neighbor, grandpa, etc.) Come
when you can and see you there!

Alpha Alums --
We invite you to join Alpha Alums for a monthly Bible study on Acts
and Romans. The group meets in the Library on the second Monday of
each month (September - May) at 9 a.m. On September 10, we will be

What is Alpha?
Anyone interested in finding
out more about the Christian Faith.
Learning and Laughter. It
is possible to learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the
same time.
Pasta (or other great food).
Each weekly session begins with dinner.
Helping one another. The
small groups give you a chance to discuss issues raised during he
talks.
Ask anything. Alpha is a
place where no question is seen as too simple or too hostile. The
environment is open, safe and non-threatening.

* Christians who want to revisit the basics of faith
What happens at Alpha?
A series of talks on the topics:
* Who is Jesus?
* Why did Jesus die?
* Why and how should I read the Bible?
* Why and do I pray?
* What about the Holy Spirit?
* How can I resist evil?
* Why and how should I tell others?
* Does God heal today?
* What about the Church?
After each talk there is small group time to discuss any questions
or issues. This gives an opportunity to get to know each other and
learn together.
