Countryside Arts Moves Home
Countryside Arts has been providing art classes, private
lessons, and artist workshops to friends and neighbors for more
than five years now. The Countryside Arts Gallery, which had
been located in downtown Scandia, was a showplace for several
local artists and craftsmen. But after five years, Ken and Mary
Jo Milbrandt have moved their art gallery Home.
The Milbrandts have spent the last few months in finishing a
brand new base of operations on their picturesque ten-acre farm
on Scandia Trail (Highway 97). The new location offers more
scope for artistic inspiration--spring bulbs, rose gardens,
wildflowers, lilac bushes, songbirds, fruit trees, flowering
vines, stands of ferns, grape arbors, vegetable gardens, and a
cedar grove. |

Mary Jo's award-winning
watercolors are on display and available for sale, and she
is still taking a limited number of students for lessons.

Ken will also continue to offer matting
and framing services.

The Countryside Arts Gallery is now located at the Milbrandt
home -- 15560 Scandia Trail North
in Scandia, Minnesota. Ken and
Mary Jo won't be keeping regular hours. If you would like to
visit the
gallery, you'll be taking your chances, but your
chances are good. Someone is usually home!
